The C-56 JUAN ESCUTIA, a 150 feet long war ship, purchased by the Mexican Navy from the US NAVY after WWII. The C-56 was sunk near Puerto Morelos in 1996 as part of an artificial reef program. The C-56 is considered one of the best wreck dives in Mexico, with the decks all fully penetrable.
